The Work Control Centre is in room 1066 of the Physical Resources Building and operates Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00PM.
Our friendly and knowledgeable customer service team handle a wide variety of calls ranging from emergencies to routine or corrective work requests, billing enquiries and work order status requests. The customer service team receives verbal and electronic requests from the community and initiates work orders for action with the appropriate service team. Our staff utilize a two-way radio and telephone network which enables us to promptly communicate emergencies to our service teams to ensure swift action and resolution.
The Work Control Centre also processes a variety of transactions in support of work order management.
We encourage you to immediately contact the Work Control Centre for all emergencies such as:
- Elevator malfunctions and entrapments
- Power outages
- Health and safety hazards and accessibility issues
- Outdoor hazards such ice or major pothole
- Issues interfering with the daily operations
Never worry about duplicating a call. Hearing about an emergency several times is better than not at all.
